Quick Movie Review: The Girl Who Leapt Through Time

This is a fun anime movie that sort of has a Hayao Miyazaki meets “Groundhog Day” vibe to it. The animation is simple, fluid and fun to look at. It has a good plot with an interesting twist on time travel, although there are some scenes that are quite monotonous (a large portion of movie revolves around 3 people playing catch with a baseball, and this scene is revisited many times). The movie is only a little over an hour and a half long but it still seemed to sort of drag at the end. All in all, I would highly recommend this movie to fans of anime.
